Cranna
They say that Patternbearers and their demon-tainted Elemental magic were responsible for the attack on Cranna, causing a large part of the western coast, including the capital city of Circha, to sink beneath a gigantic tidal wave. Their own island sunk as well, killing most of them in one fell swoop. They are shunned everywhere now, forced to hide their Pattern, their talents, at the cost of their own lives. And people whisper that they're still out there, plotting a new attack, honing their skills so next time they might hit even harder and kill even more people. Nobody knows where, though. The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again.
In one Age, called the Third Age by some, an Age yet to come, an Age long past, a wind rose in a far off place. It called heroes of the sword, magic, strength of will and mind to come together to battle against the forces of the Dark One in the hopes of saving the Light of the world.
